For families

Find someone who sat it, then book them.

No consultation call, no needs assessment, no package to buy before you have met anyone. You look at real profiles, pick a person, and book a single lesson.

1

Search your subject and suburb

Filter by the exact VCE study — Chemistry Units 3&4, not “Year 12 science” — and by how far you want them to travel.

2

Read the profile, then message

Rate, subjects, university and verification status are all on the profile before you contact anyone. Messages go through Chalkden; contact details are exchanged once a booking is accepted.

3

Request a time

Pick a slot from their availability. The tutor accepts or proposes another. Nothing is charged at this point.

4

The lesson happens

You are charged when it is completed, not when it is booked. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and there is no charge at all.

5

You get a written report

What was covered, what was hard, and what to do before next time. Two minutes of the tutor's time, written up properly.

Before the first lesson

Verification is not a badge. It is a gate.

A tutor cannot accept a booking for anyone under 18 until their Victorian Working with Children Check is verified. Not warned about — refused, by the booking system itself.
